/Walk through the process
Creating a custom Web site is an in-depth process. As our client, we want your experience to be as simple and stress-free as possible. You should enjoy the process and feel comfortable about what you're purchasing both before and after the project is complete. Here's a simple overview of our approach:
Step 1: Discovery
As the most critical element of site creation, the discovery process consists of interfacing with you to discern your vision and what you really want and need. The flexibility afforded by a custom Web site means we collaborate to clarify what is feasible and to avoid spiking your cost meter. It is important that by the time the discovery conversation or stage is complete, we are on the same page about the final product. We then identify a Go-Live date and get our hands dirty!
Step 2: Site Mapping
This is the brain-dump stage of site planning. We will provide you with a simple, web-based program so you can give us a rough idea about how you want the new site to flow and be organized (Don't worry, if you have no idea, we're here to help!). Page titles are created and then moved around to make the navigation intuitive. The goal is for a first-time user to know how to get around your site with zero hindrances. Once we know the basic architecture of what you're wanting, we jump in to help tighten and finalize the plans.

Step 4: Design
The site's design flows from your existing Corporate Identity (or we can create one for you). Every step that has led up to this point has created a more precise vision of your new site's “look and feel.” Often, several members of our design team will work together to visually bring the site to life. A home page comp or image as well as a secondary page (and any other pages that deviate from the secondary page) will be created and displayed for your viewing pleasure or total annihilation. Yes, it's grueling, but we are fanatics about making it right.
Steps 5-8: Magic
Serious magic happens here. It's crazy. People lose sleep, speak in code,
drink too much caffeine and create some unbelievable stuff.

Step 9: Go-Live
The site is up and everyone can see it! Now, before your friends and coworkers dub you as a nuisance because you've peppered them with links, it is important to check every page, link and application to make sure everything is operating smoothly. Our developers are closely involved during this time to make on-the-fly edits. Those same developers are a major part of the maintenance package that comes with any custom site we build. Just think of them as the fire department for your web fires.
